The standard I work to
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What you can expect
- A “skip to content” link and a logical heading structure on every page.
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators.
- Text and background colours chosen for sufficient contrast.
- Descriptive alternative text for images, and data from results charts written out in the text beside them.
- Layouts that work when zoomed to 400% and on small screens, without horizontal scrolling.
- Animation reduced automatically if your device is set to “reduce motion”.
- Form fields with visible labels and status messages announced to screen readers.
Known limitations
- Screenshots of Google Search Console and Ahrefs reports contain small text that is hard to read. The key figures from each are written out in the case-study text.
- Some older pages on the site are being moved to the current design and may not yet meet every criterion.
- Third-party pages I link to, such as Google Maps and LinkedIn, are outside my control.
